Three 6-indebted rap that sounds like the soundtrack to dudes fighting…”Noisey

“…there is plenty of quirky humor and rhyming throughout.”The Smoking Section

“…Moola Gang crew have been a force to be reckoned with in the southwest, PA scene for a while now.”Jenesis Magazine

The Song:

“Every 24 I’m thinking money and the power,” chants the screwed up Ace Hood vocal sample on the chorus of Moola Gang Ca$h Cow$ rapper/producer Luke-O’s latest single, “24/7.” “Turn the freakin’ heck up,” says Noisey in their premiere, describing the track as “Three 6-indebted rap that sounds like the soundtrack to dudes fighting.”

Based in Fayette County, an area southeast of Pittsburgh, “24/7” features local newcomer Gunner and is produced by J Dub. It’s the second single from Luke-O’s forthcoming Lacoste Bo$$ mixtape, which is set to be released on August 19th. Earlier this month, The Smoking Section debuted “Main Street Pt. II,” saying “it’s Main Street, but not the boring, white picket fence and cookie cutter house that you’d expect.” With a knack for spitting Mafioso bravado, the charismatic MC embraces a nostalgic, boom bap sound influenced by Bad Boy in the 90’s.

Luke-O is one-third of the Moola Gang Ca$h Cow$, alongside rapper Pyrex Pre$$ and rapper/producer Kilz. The crew has been buzzing in Pittsburgh for the past few years, having featured on and produced Mac Miller’s “Beautiful Money.” Also, Pyrex Pre$$, was featured on the cover of Jenesis Magazine‘s “Next 5 Out of Pittsburgh” issue, which highlighted five of the city’s rising rap talents. Luke-O’s Lacoste Bo$$ follows Pyrex Pre$$’s Hard, Medium, $oft, Or $lu$$$hy, while Kilz plots a solo release before year’s end.
